CURA
SECOND HAND. FIRST LOVE.
NAMING, BRANDING, AND LAUNCH FOR A BRAND THAT GIVES LUXURY A SECOND LIFE.
The secondhand market had a trust problem: efficient, maybe sustainable, rarely desirable. Cura wanted the opposite - a house where a pre-loved piece feels every bit as desirable as a first edition, curated with the same rigor as a runway collection. The challenge wasn't simply building a brand: it was building an entire category's worth of taste and trust from scratch.
Second has always sounded like a downgrade; second place, second choice, second best. Cura set out to prove the opposite: a second life, a second chance, a second love, each one worth more than the first, because it already comes with a story. The concept of second as more, never less, became the lens for every decision: positioning, photography, tone of voice, packaging.
The wordmark is set as four letters, spaced out like a stamp - C U R A - each one given room to stand on its own, the way a notary marks something as verified. Bold, geometric, with nothing to hide behind. It reads less like a logotype and more like a guarantee: this piece has been looked at twice, and it passed.
Repeated across red, blue, and gold, it becomes a pattern: a small mark of authentication that says this one was chosen twice.

Loved once. Made to be loved again.

Some things are even better the second time.
